The Kashmir valley is in unrest. It started with the killing of a militant commander of the Kashmir-based Hizbul Mujahideen, by Indian security forces on 8 July 2016.  After his killing, anti-Indian protests started in all 10 districts of the Kashmir Valley. Protesters defied the curfew with attacks on security forces and public properties.

They are not protesting but attacking the security forces, government property, and general people who have an opposite view with separates. It is clear that the terrorism in the Valley is instigated by Pakistan. It provides many kinds of help to terrorists through money, arsenal, etc and even the supply of terrorists is going on continuously.  The attacks begin to start after the death of the militant commander on July 8/9^th.

On the said date the Moon sign was Leo which is the 6^th place from the natal sign of the state. As a basic rule the transit of the Moon from the 6^th, 10^th, 2^nd, and 12^th are sensitive to receiving an attack on a country or state as observed by many conflicting events between nations.

The Kashmir (Sri Nagar 74E47, 34N05 > 11-30^th/00) region is ruled by the sign Pisces of Revati star according to the theory of zodiacal sign of a place/ state/ countries.

Let us see the transit position of planets on July 8, at 12 noon with respect to the zodiacal sign of Sri Nagar.

The sign Pisces is destined to suffer with this kind of planetary position. The sensitive houses namely the 4^th, 6^th, 8^th, and the 12^th all are occupied by malefic! The 6^th house is occupied by the notorious Rahu with the sign lord Jupiter. The position of some planets is going to change but it seems no peace in the region. Everyone is curious to know ‘when will be peace prevails in the region’?

Accession of Kashmir:

The root cause of the problem is innate as the chart of accession reflects. Let us see:

The Moon was transiting at sign Pisces the natal sign of the state! The trine and the 7^th sign from a sign reflect almost the same property and results. Most of the countries got their freedom during such transit (1-5-9-7^th) of the Moon from the natal sign of the countries.

The Uranus was transiting the natal 4^th sign in Rasi and occupies the 8^th sign in the Navamsa. The trine houses are occupied by Malefic like Saturn, Mars, and Ketu. The only good thing is that the sign lord Jupiter aspect the natal sign Pisces. But Jupiter is not strong enough as he is with malefic Ketu and got a seat over the sign of his detrimental Virgo in the Navamsa. The natal 4^th lord Mercury posited in the natal 8th house with the 8^th lord Venus and the 6^th lord Sun. So the general public of the state is suffering on account of terror (6^th lord) and untimely loss of lives (8^th lord). The weakness of sign lord Jupiter is failing to save the peace in the region.

Now let us examine the Swear in the chart of Mehbuba Mufti Syed.

The 6^th house of the oath-taking chart is under the grip of malefic Mars and Saturn. Heavy affliction to the 6^th house in a mundane chart always shows the threat of terror, military intervention, diseases, and an increase of enemies. The mutual sign exchange of the 10^th and 3^rd lord is indicating ‘RajYoga’ of only medium nature. Thanks to the Vargottam ascendant lord Mercury in the 11^th house whose grace is sustaining the position of the Mehbooba Mufti Syed.

Observing oath taking chart from another view as the transit position of planets with respect to the natal sign; the 4^th ascendant (Gemini) and the 12^th Moon (Aquarius) from the natal sign Pisces is not a welcome feature. The natal sign lord Jupiter with Rahu is having a sign exchange with the natal 6^th lord Sun which is causing the continuous threat of terrorism. The position of the natal 8^th lord Venus at the natal sign Pisces and the trine position of Mars, Saturn, and Gulika is not a healthy planetary position.

What is the near future?

Uranus a responsible planet for political upheavals is transiting the natal sign Pisces in Rasi as well as in the Navamsa. The transit of Uranus over the 1-5-7-11^th sign from the natal sign can create a hunger to get rid of the current rule. So its position over sign Pisces in both Vargas is the main factor for upheaval in the region. It wills quite the sign Pisces by April 8, 2017; which could be a decisive factor in the favor of prevailing peace.

Saturn is transiting at Scorpio sign and Jyestha star up to January 2017. The sign Scorpio is a trine sign from the place and the star Jyestha falls in the sensitive natal Tara of the place. Hence the position of Saturn is not good till January 2017.

The Rahu is transiting the natal 6^th house at sign Leo and more over at Purvaphalguni star which falls at evil Tara from the natal star Revati. It will change the star position by the 7^th of December. This will also help to improve the peaceful environment in the region.

The best position of the Sun to conduce the peace would be at Upachaya houses (3-6-10-11^th) but without affliction. So the position of the Sun at the sign Capricorn which is the 11^th position from the natal sign will be helping to attain temporary peace in the region.

Summing up all the above points indicate that a peaceful environment in the valley is only possible in January 2017 and will be more favorable to peace by April 2017.

Next year by September Jupiter will move to the sign Libra which is in the 8^th place and the Rahu will be at the trine sign Cancer and Saturn will be in the 10^th place at the sign Sagittarius. The weakness of sign lord Jupiter in the 8^th house and respectively trine and square position of Rahu and Saturn can cause the disturbance in the region again.

I think something decisive will happen in the region when Jupiter will be at the sign Scorpio and Uranus at the sign Aries, which may conduce to the stability of peace for a long time.
