The Uranus
newly discovered planet has a significant role in mundane astrology. Some
traditional astrologers deny its effect totally on the nativity as well as on mundane affairs. But I experienced its major role in deciding mundane
events and I have no opinion regarding its effect on nativity till now.
It is
discovered in 1781 by ‘Herschel’ and after him, it was named ‘Herschel’.
Most of us think that it was unknown to all till 1781 even the great seers of the Vedic era were unaware of this.
According to
a Marathi author Dr. P.V.Vartik - its existence was known to Maharishi Veda
Vyas the author of the ‘Maha Bharat’. His view is clearly mentioned in related verse with its application in his work namely ‘scientific dating of the
Maha Bharat’.
