The newly discovered planet has a significant role in mundane astrology. Some traditional astrologers deny its effect totally on the nativity as well as on the mundane affairs. But I experienced its major role in deciding mundane events, and I have no opinion regarding its effect on nativity till now.

It was discovered in 1781 by Herschel, and after him it was named Herschel. Most of us think that it was unknown to all till 1781, even the great seers of the Vedic era were unaware of this.

According to a Marathi author, Dr. P.V. Vartik, its existence was known to Maharishi Veda Vyas, the author of the ‘Maha Bharat’. His view is mentioned with a related verse with its application in his work, namely, ‘scientific dating of the Maha Bharat’.

Almost all Western astrologers consider its effect on nativity as well as on mundane affairs. Some Indian astrologers also accept its influence on the nativity as well as for mundane affairs.

1-   Uranus is about 1782 million miles away from the Sun. It takes about 84 years to go round the Sun once and takes a seat on a sign for 7 years. It has made the entry into sign Aries on June 26, 2016, but it got back by retrograde motion to sign Pisces after some time and again will appear at sign Aries about April 8, 2017.

The main significance of Uranus is unforeseen happenings like sudden political agitation, dethroning, sudden natural calamities, etc. It also stands for change, new ideas, new discoveries, etc. Uranus has a great impact on political affairs. It has the significance of revolution, political agitation, sudden disruptive change, and war for liberty. Let us study its effect on various houses.

This is a slow-moving, cruel planet, mostly like Saturn. Its malefic result appears clearly when it receives the aspect or union of another malefic planet. The trine and the 4-7-8-12^th cruel transit prove to be bad as a rule, given in the Prashna Marg.

So, the transit of Uranus over such places from the zodiacal sign of countries provides a hard time to pass. Even the Navamsa sign of transit Uranus over such houses is not good. The influence of other maleficent forces adds fuel to the fire.

India faced two wars of 1962 and 1965 during the 8^th transit of Uranus at sign Leo, and the war of 1971 and the Kargil conflict in 1999 were the result of the trine transit of Uranus. The Pearl Harbors and the biggest terror attack on the USA of September 11, 2001, were the result of the 4^th and 12^th transit of Uranus with Saturn. Many such cruel events have been registered their entry in the pages of history.

According to Dr. Vartik the Uranus was transiting over the star Shravana, the natal star of India (Indraprastha, now Delhi) at the time of the Mahabharat. His words are “So Uranus was in Shravan during the Mahabharat War as stated by Vyas under the name of 'Shveta".

1-    It turns the minds of rulers to be aggressive and adamant toward other countries whenever it transits through the 1^st, 7^th, or the 3^rd house of the country.

Uranus was transiting the sign of Aquarius when Iraq was attacked by the USA in 2003. It was first to the USA (Aquarius) and third to Iraq (Sagittarius). The Kuwait (Libra) was invaded by Iraq in 1990 at the time of Sagittarius transit, which is the 3^rd transit for Kuwait and the first to Iraq.

2-    We can also read the tendencies of splitting a country or state with the help of Uranus and the zodiacal sign of the capital, and if there is any threat, then we can predict it with the help of some other astrological factors.

The transit of Uranus over the third, sixth, ninth, and twelfth signs from the natal sign of a country creates such circumstances strongly.

The condition was fulfilled at the time of dividing many countries as India, Pakistan, Germany, Sudan, Italy, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, the United Arab States, Ossetia, the Netherlands Antilles, and Korea etc.

Even the Navamsa sign occupied by transit Uranus equal to these signs/houses from the natal sign of a state or country can provide splitting a country or state for the most awaited cases, which are fixed to do so by authorities, as it was in the case of Telangana.

3-      The planet Uranus has the significance of revolution, political agitation, sudden and disruptive change, and war for liberty. It is a planet of liberty. The 1^st and 5^th house stands for the humane mind and the mind of people in the country's horoscope. Whenever Uranus transits these houses from the sign of the country, results change in the mentality of people towards liberty. Transit from the 7^th and 11^th houses can also create such a result as it aspects the 1^st and 5^th respectively from these houses. Transit from another house can also create such a result if the associated planet aspects the 1^st house, since its effect will reach the 1^st house with the help of the associated planet.

So, all the trine signs and the 7^th, 11^th signs from the natal sign of a country are much sensitive to the transition of Uranus for the revolution in the country. 

The revolution of 1857 in India, the Russian revolution of 1917, and China`s revolution of 1932/33 were the result of the 1^st, 5^th, and 11^th transit of Uranus, respectively. Recently, the revolutions of Egypt, Syria, and Libya were motivated by the 1^st and 7^th transit of Uranus.

4-    If it is a matter of war, games, or competition, the 4^th transit of malefic supports winning, while the 10^th transit of malefic leads to losing. So, the presence of Uranus with other malefics in the 2-6-10^th houses is a sure sign to lose. Japan (Leo) surrendered in the 2^nd world War as Uranus was transiting its 10^th house at Taurus, while the USA (Aquarius) emerged as it was the 4^th transit to it.

The 7^th house signifies the opponent, and a healthy malefic presence in this trine (3-7-11^th) house provides ‘war strength’ to the opponent.

The Kuwait (Libra) was annexed by Iraq in August 1990 when Uranus and Saturn both were transiting its 3^rd house, Sagittarius.

Iraq (Sagittarius) was destroyed by the USA in March 2003, during the 3^rd transit of Uranus with the 6^th transit of Saturn and Rahu.

The 6^th transit of Uranus at Virgo, 10^th Rahu at Capricorn, and the 2^nd Saturn at Taurus led to heavy losses for Pakistan (Aries) during the Indo-Pak war of December 1971.

Hence, it is wise not to get entangled in a war during the malefic transit from the 2-6-10-3-7^th sign from the natal sign of the country, while a benefic transit over 2-6-10^th signs is recommended. The trine and the 4-8-12^th malefic transit only support the matter related to war, games, etc, but prove bad otherwise.

 

 We can also read the tendencies related to political affairs using the zodiacal sign obtained by applying my formula. The planet Uranus has a significant impact on political affairs. The planet Uranus is associated with revolution, political agitation, sudden disruptive change, and war for liberty.

We can also read the tendencies of splitting of a country or state with the help of Uranus and the zodiacal sign of the capital, and if there is a threat, we can predict it.

Now I am trying to prove my findings from various examples. The prediction rules are as follows-

1-     The fourth house and its lord rule the land. The twelfth house stands for the house of loss, the sixth house stands for dispute, and the third house is twelfth from the fourth house, and the lord of these houses has a functional tendency to disintegrate. The Saturn and Rahu/Ketu have a natural tendency to disintegrate.

So, the transit position of the fourth lord over these houses and the impact of a separate planet on the fourth house and the fourth lord may create such a tendency of partition.

2-    Uranus, a planet of political upheaval, transits over these houses, namely the third, sixth, and twelfth houses, create such circumstances strongly. Its transit through the 1^st, 4^th, and 8^th houses proves bad for the country otherwise.

Let us see some examples-

1-    1-    India was divided on 14/15-8-1947. Observe the transit position of planets at sign Capricorn the zodiacal sign of capital of New Delhi.

     

    a-    The 6^th transit of Uranus at sign Gemini from sign Capricorn, the zodiacal sign of capital.

b-    The 4^th lord Mars in the 6^th house within the aspect of 3^rd cum 12^th lord Jupiter.

1-    Pakistan was divided on 16/12/1971. The zodiacal sign of Islamabad (33N42 & 73E10) is Aries. 

• a-    The transit of Uranus is at the 6^th house at sign Virgo from sign Aries.
• b-     The 4^th house is influenced by malefic Rahu/Ketu and its lord in the 8^th house with the 3^rd and 12^th lord.

1-   Korea was divided on 9/9/1948. The zodiacal sign of its capital, Seoul (37N35 & 127E00), is Capricorn.

  a-    The transit of Uranus from the 6^th house at the sign Gemini is noteworthy from the zodiacal sign of the capital of the country.

b-    The 4^th house and its lord, Mars, influenced by malefic Rahu/Ketu, having an aspect of Saturn from the 8^th house. The Saturn and Rahu/Ketu have a natural tendency to disintegrate.

1-   Sudan was divided on 9/7/2011 at zero hours. The zodiacal sign of its Capital, Khartoum (15N38 & 32E32), is Libra.

1-             a-    The transit of Uranus is at the 6^th house at sign Pisces from the zodiacal sign of it.
b-    The 4^th lord, Saturn in the 12^th house, a house of losses within the aspect of Ketu. The 12^th lord Mercury has influence on the 4^th house by his aspect. 

1-    Germany was divided in 1945. The zodiacal sign of the capital Berlin (52N31 & 13E23) is Pisces. The Uranus was 3^rd to it at the sign of Taurus.

2-    Madhya Pradesh divided on 1/11/2000 and Uttar Pradesh on 9/11/2000. The zodiacal sign of the capital of both states is Scorpio. The transit of Uranus from the 3^rd house at the sign of Capricorn is noteworthy.

3-    Goa was separated from Delhi rule on 30/5/1987 and established as a separate state. Uranus was at the sign Sagittarius, the 12^th from Delhi. The 4^th lord Mars from the sign Capricorn in the 6^th house at the sign Gemini.

4-    Vietnam was divided in 1954. The zodiacal sign of Hanoi (21N02 & 105E51) is Aquarius, and the transit of Uranus was at sign Cancer from July 1954, the 6^th place from the zodiacal sign of the capital.

5-    Italy was divided in 1943. The zodiacal sign of Rome (41N54 & 12E29) is sign Sagittarius, and the transit Uranus was at sign Taurus the 6^th place from sign Sagittarius.

6-    Yugoslavia was divided during the Second World War in 1941. The zodiacal sign of Belgrade (44N49 & 20E28) is Scorpio, and the transit of Uranus was at sign Aries, the 6^th place from the zodiacal sign of Yugoslavia.

7-    Ossetia was divided in 1922. The zodiacal sign of Tskhinvali (42N14 & 43E58) is Pisces, and the transit of Uranus was at sign Aquarius the 12^th place from it.

8-    Netherlands Antilles divided on 10/10/2010. The zodiacal sign of capital Willemstad (12N07 & 68W56) is sign Aries, and the transit Uranus was at sign Pisces the 12^th place from Willemstad.

9-    United Arab States disestablished on 26/12/1961. The joint capital Cairo (30N02 & 31E13) is ruled by the sign Pisces, and the transit Uranus was at the sign Leo the 6^th place from it.

n  The 1^st, 4^th, and 8^th transits of it also have some bad effects on any country, as it is a planet of malefic nature. Please observe.

1-    The USSR disestablished on 26/12/1991. The zodiacal sign of Moscow (55N45 & 37E34) is Virgo, and the transit of Uranus was at sign Sagittarius, the 4^th place from it.

2-    The USA was divided in 1860. The zodiacal sign of Washington, DC (38N57 & 77W02) is Aquarius, and the transit of Uranus was at sign Taurus, the 4^th place from it.

3-    Northern Cyprus proclaimed separate from Cyprus on 15/11/1983. The zodiacal sign of capital Nicosia (34N08 & 33E28) of Cyprus is Aries, and the transit Uranus was at sign Scorpio the 8^th place from it.

4-    West Indies Federation dissolved on 31/5/ 1962. The joint capital of them the Trinidad (10N41 & 61W38), is ruled by the sign Capricorn, and the transit Uranus was at sign Leo the 8^th place from it.

5-    India was forced to fight with Pakistan in 1965 and with China in 1962 and Kargil in 1999 were during the transit of Uranus from Leo and Capricorn, respectively, the 1^st and 8^th place from the zodiacal sign of New Delhi.

 

10-                    Telangana- Though it is not fully separate from Andhra Pradesh, as both have their joint capital, Hyderabad. Hence, Uranus provided support from its Navamsa sign Scorpio, which is 3^rd from the sign Virgo, the zodiacal sign of Hyderabad. The zodiacal sign of Hyderabad (17.99N & 79.59E) is Virgo.

a-    Approved Telangana draft bill on December 5, 2013.; The longitude of Uranus was 11-14/35, Pisces sign and Scorpio Navamsa. Sign Scorpio is 3^rd from Hyderabad.

b-    Cabinet approved the Telangana bill on February 7, 2014, and the longitude of Uranus was 11-15/38, Pisces sign and Scorpio Navamsa. Sign Scorpio is 3^rd from Hyderabad.

c-     Telangana bill was passed by voice in Lok Sabha on February 18, 2014, and the longitude of Uranus was 11-16/06, Pisces sign Scorpio Navamsa. Sign Scorpio is 3^rd from Hyderabad.

The bill received the assent of the president and was published in the Gazette on 1 March 2014. The longitude of Uranus was 11-16/38, Pisces sign Scorpio Navamsa. Sign Scorpio is 3^rd from Hyderabad.

  

!!Zodiacal sign of the country and its revolution period!!

Nowadays, there is a war for independence from military rule in some countries. The planet Uranus is associated with revolution, political agitation, sudden and disruptive change, and war for liberty. It is a planet of liberty. The 1^st and 5^th house stands for the humane mind, in the country's horoscope of people. Whenever Uranus transits these houses from the country sign people's mind turns to liberty. Transit from the 7^th and 11^th houses can also create such a result as it aspects the 1^st and 5^th respectively from these houses. Transit from another house can also create such a result if the associated planet aspects the 1^st house, as its effect will reach the 1^st house with the help of the associated planet. The 9^th house can also create such a result as it is trine to the 1^st and 5^th houses.

The planet Saturn is also a supporter planet of democracy, so the transit of it over 1^st, 5^th, 7^th, 11^th place from the zodiac sign of the capital can create a hunger for liberation in the people's mind.

For the use of a political purpose, calculate the zodiacal sign for the capital using the formula and extend it up to the last limit of the star, but within the same zodiac sign. Some star covers the next sign too, then extend the star's longitude of place up to the last limit of the sign.

Let us see some revolutions-

1-    India`s revolution of 1857/58/59. India`s zodiac sign is Capricorn, and Uranus was transiting over Taurus in these years the 5^th house of India.

2-    Up to July 1947, Uranus was at sign Taurus, and in some previous years, from 1947, a decisive revolution was created in India. Here again, Uranus was transiting 5^th from India`s zodiac sign.

3-    Russia created a revolution in 1917. Uranus was at Capricorn, the 5^th house from the zodiac sign of Moscow.

c-    The last eclipse occurred 4/1/2011 at the sign Sagittarius with the Purvashad star. The sign Sagittarius is 10^th from the place sign, a house of the ruler of the country, and the star Purvashad falls in the 21^st Tara from the place star.

1-    Libya is about to get liberation from its cruel ruler. The revolution has been running since mid-February 2011. The capital of Libya is Tripoli, and its zodiac sign is Virgo. Observe the planetary transit over the sign Virgo on 21^st February 2011, the beginning of the revolution.

 The 4^th Rahu is creating the situation of civil war.

b-    The 8^th lord, Mars in the 6^th house with Sun and putting aspect on the ascendant, is a combination of loss of lives.

c-     The 10^th house is posited by Ketu and aspected by Saturn; moreover, over the 10^th lord in the 6^th house with a malefic is a very bad situation for the ruler of the country.

d-    The 6^th malefic and exchange in the 1^st and 6^th houses is a sign of courageous fighting by the country.

1-    The Syrian civil war is still going on against its bad ruler. Its capital is Damascus (33N30 & 36E18) and the zodiacal sign of it is Pisces of 11-4/48.  The transit of Uranus at the sign Pisces creates the hunger for liberation against a tyrannical ruler.

It gained independence from France on 17/4/1946 when the Moon sign was Libra. It was the 8^th transit, so it proved bad for this country.

(How to calculate the zodiacal sign of place-

Take the longitude and latitude of the place in question. Convert them into degrees. Out of them, use the North and East coordinate with a plus (+) mark and the South and West coordinate with a minus(-) mark.

Zodiac sign= 9(Latitude – Longitude)

Then make the resultant figure within 360 degrees, after deducting or adding, as many times as the value of 360. It must be within 360 degrees and with a plus mark, and then convert into a Zodiac sign, providing 30 degrees for each sign. The value we get should be increased by the nearest Navamsa-pada. This is the Zodiacal sign of place. But for the use of political purposes, we should extend it up to the last limit of the star, but within the same sign.)
