What makes a marriage match possible or perfect

A successful marriage match is possible only by the grace of God. Man cannot arrange it. A strong destiny cannot be averted, even a great astrologer`s endeavor failed to stop the widowhood of his lovely daughter, Leela Vati. The purpose of astrology is to understand the laws of the cosmos and then men`s dwarves before God and surrender to him. Whatever branch of knowledge is discovered or developed in ancient India has the purpose of knowing God or renunciation. But man seldom uses it for writing purposes. We make secondary use of any knowledge to get a physical benefit. So let us try to make a marriage match perfect.
See the horoscopes of a couple who separated within three years after marriage, though they have a sufficient ‘Asta Koot’ matching score of 29.5 and are free from ‘Manglik Dosha’ from the ascendant.
Male-1) 23/3/1976, 7/35 hours at Bhopal 23N17, 77E28

Female-1) - 17/01/1983, 5/40 hours at Piparia(m.p.) 78E21 & 22N45

What was wrong with them? There are thousands of rules and combinations in astrology; we can justify any event according to our intention. Here, also keep in mind that the matter is only of matchmaking.
Actually, they are not made for each other, and the only short partnership was in their destiny.

Now see the horoscope of a couple who has an Astakuta matching score of about 10 points. The female has a blemish of ‘Manglik’ not only from the ascendant but also from the Moon sign, while the male is free from it. But the couple has enjoyed a good partnership since 1998 with a lovely son.
Male-2) - 13/05/1973, 5/15 hours at 78E43 & 23N08

 Female-2) - 02/09/1974, 6/30 hours at Kareli (m.p.) 79E06 & 22N54

If the marriage match is as per the rules of astrology established by seers, then it will be stable and good. We must follow the rules given below.
Marriage Point -

The author suggested the moon sign of the spouse is one or trine of the sign getting after adding the value of the 1st and 7th lord. It is true in every successful marriage match, but with a little refinement of the Sutra. The author might also be aware of it. But there was a concept in old India that not to tell knowledge before everyone but only to sincere and honest disciples. So they provide hints to work further with the hope that a true devotee of the subject can understand the matter. The Navamsa of every point where it is possible is always suggested by ancient seers. So we can use it whether it is described or not in a particular verse.
Add the longitude of the 1st and 7th lord, and take the Navamsa longitude of it; it is the Marriage Point and has a significant role in deciding a good marriage. Now see the use of it.
a-     Moon sign of spouse- This sign and trine of it means 1st- 5th- 9th and 7th are the best ones as a Moon sign of spouse. The 3rd and 11th trine from the 7th sign is also acceptable, and lastly, weaker good we can choose the square 10th sign from it, and the weakest good is the 4th from it. There are a total of eight signs. So the Moon sign of spouse should not be 2nd -12th -6th or 8th from own marriage point. Only a one-sided agreement indicates a difficult married life.
b-    This marriage point mutually should not be in the 6th- 8th or 2nd- 12th position.
c-     This marriage point falls in the above-described eight signs from the Navamsa ascendant of the spouse.
d-    The star falls at marriage points and also tells much about the spouse. The moon star of the other falls in a good Tara from the star of MP of one.
e-     Mostly, the ascendant of the spouse comes from the above-described eight signs from the sign occupied by the lord of marriage point in the navamsa chart. The sign aspected by this lord also qualified for the ascendant of the spouse. The star of the ascendant comes from the good Tara, including first from the star occupied by it in the navamsa chart. Only a one-sided agreement indicates a difficult married life or hazards.
f-      This marriage point falls in a fixed sign with affliction or in the evil houses, giving hazards in marriage life. Most ‘Sannyasins’ and unmarried persons have their MP at a fixed sign. It should also be in the benefic Tara from the star of Navamsa Moon and the navamsa star falling in the 7th house in the horoscope of the self for better results.
All calculations must be according to Chitra Paksha Ayanamsa.
Now see the examples given above-
Marriage point of male-1) –
1st lord Mars 2-8/27 + 7th lord Venus 10-16/20 = 0-24/53 taking Navamsa of it and multiplying it by nine, we get- 7-13/48 Scorpio sign and Anuradha star.
Marriage point of female-1) – 3-10/48 Cancer sign and Pushya star
The Moon sign of a female Libra is 12th from the MP of a male, and the Moon sign of a male is 6th from the MP of a female. The Nakshatras of both are in the bad Tara from the Nakshatra rising in the MP of the other.
The mutual trine position of MPs is a good thing.
The ascendant of the female is the same as occupied by the lord of MP (Mars) of the male in the navamsa chart. The ascendant star (Mula) of her is in the 9th Tara from the navamsa star of Mars (8-16/24), the lord of MP of males.
The ascendant of the male is 3rd from the navamsa sign occupied by the lord of MP (Moon) of the female. The star of the ascendant of the male is in the 4th Tara from the navamsa star of the lord of MP of the female.
The mutually trine marriage points are a good thing that was a one from supporting factor, and the ascendant of both also, according to the rule, makes marriage possible, but the Moon sign of both is not, as it leads to divorce.
Marriage point of male-2) – 8-04/30 Sagittarius sign and Mula star; the navamsa longitude of Jupiter is 2-13/12
Marriage point of female-2) – 5-12/09 Virgo sign with Hasta star; the navamsa longitude of Mercury is 8-26/16
The marriage points mutually are not in a 2-12 or 6-8th relationship. The Moon sign for a female is 3rd from the male`s MP, and the Moon sign of the male is the same as the MP of a female. The star of female Shatbhisha is in a good Tara from the star of MP of male, and the Moon star of the male is the same as the star of MP of female. The Navamsa ascendant of both is at the odd sign, and their MP also falls at the odd sign. All these factors made this match perfect.
The ascendant of the male is Aries, a trine from the navamsa sign occupied by MP of the female, and the star of it is the same as occupied by the lord of MP of the female in the navamsa chart. The ascendant of the female is 3rd from the navamsa sign occupied by the lord of MP of the male, and the star of her ascendant is in the 6th Tara from the navamsa star occupied by the lord of MP of the female.
1-    Moon star-
a-     There are only three marks for this matching factor. I want to provide at least fifty marks on this point, but not to the star of the Rasi chart, but to the Moon star of the Navamsa chart. Counting should be from the Moon navamsa star of one to the Rasi Moon star of the other. It must be in good order, including first. Here we have to strictly reject the 3rd and 5th tara. The star of 7th Tara is of ‘Mahendra group’, a famous concept of ‘Prasna Marg’ acceptable in marriage matters, but not always a promising factor. The star of bad Tara may also get a place if these are owned by the 7th lord and same time in a good Tara from Rasi Moon. Only a one-sided match indicates some fault or hazard in married life. Generally, marriages are not possible in the absence of this agreement from both sides. But don’t rely much on whether the longitudes are in the extreme junction of the navamsa.
The use of the Navamsa sign of the Moon for transit purposes is suggested by the author of ‘Dev Keralam’, so we can also use the star of the Navamsa Moon.

Counting must be done navamsa star of one to the Rasi moon (D-1) star of the other. Both examples are according to the rule.
a-     If we have the correct longitude of the ascendant to the minutes, then work further. Calculate the navamsa longitude of the 7th house and mark the star falling on it. The Moon star of the spouse comes from the benefic Tara, which includes the first Tara.
1-    The ascendant of a spouse-
a-     It should be according to rule-1-e.
b-    Mark the 7th lord from the ascendant lord in the Rasi chart and move to the Navamsa sign occupied by it and mark this sign and trine sign from this and the sign aspected by it in the Navamsa. The ascendant of the first or successful sex partner surely comes from these signs. It may be possible when one side agrees with the rule and the other side has above above-described eight signs from the navamsa sign of the 7th lord from the ascendant lord. Also, mark the Navamsa star of that planet, and the ascendant star of the opposite sex comes from the benefic Tara from it. But don’t rely much on whether the longitudes are in the extreme junction of the navamsa.
Our second example is according to the rule, but the first is only supported by one side.
There is another rule to fix the ascendant of the spouse, but with some weak intensity. That is, it marks the 7th lord from Karak Venus in the Rasi chart and works as above in the Navamsa chart.
2-    Navamsa ascendant of the spouse-
a-     We can also get hints about the navamsa ascendant of the spouse from the rule 1-c.
b-    The Karakamsa sign of one falls in the above-described eight signs (1st trine, 7th trine, and square) from the navamsa ascendant of the other.
Here, too, our second example is in full support, but the first is only partially supported by it.
3-    Saptansh (D-7) and spouse- The 7th house stands for marriage, so the 7th Varga should be treated for these purposes. The role of fate is prominent in all the achievements of man, so the role of Navamsa (D-9) is also most significant as it falls in the 9th house, the house of destiny. Marriage is a much more important event in human life, the source of the best corporal enjoyment, and the secret feeling of the eternity of self in the form of his son. A father lives his dreams through his son. So, according to the great importance of marriage, our seers have put this matter to the D-9 chart, in the hand of destiny beside of D-7 chart. Though technically point of view, we should examine the D-7 chart for matters related to marriage.
a-     The natal Moon should be multiplied by seven to get the value of the Spanish Moon. Mark this sign and the star of it. The ascendant or Moon sign of the spouse comes from the eight signs described above it. Generally, it gives no conclusion. It is better to have the Moon star of the spouse in a good Tara from the D-7 star.
b-    D-7 Tithi- The longitude of the Tithi (Moon-Sun) of the Rasi chart should be multiplied by seven to get the Tithi of the D-7 chart. Mostly the Tithi of the spouse comes from this group or belongs to the 3rd and 4th groups from it.
c-     D-7 Yoga- The longitude of Yoga 9Moon + Sun) of the Rasi chart should be multiplied by seven to get the Yoga of the D-7 chart. The natal Yoga of a spouse mostly comes from the good Tara it including the first Tara.
Now see the example chart 2-
Male- natal moon 5-10/52; D-7)- 1-16/04  Taurus sign and Rohini star
           Natal Tithi-4-12/16 S-12; D-7- 6-25/, K-3
           Natal Yoga-6-9/27 Vajra; D-7- 8-6/09, Paridhi
The moon sign and ascendant of a spouse are square with the moon of D-7. The star of spouse Satbhisha is in the bad Tara from Rohini star, but the Tithi of spouse K-1 is from 4th Varga from D-7 Tithi, hence good. The Yoga of female Dhriti is in the 8th Tara from the Yoga of D-7 of male, so good.
Female- natal moon-10-18/16; D-7- 2-7/52 Gemini sign and Aadra star
                Natal Tithi- 6-2/35 K-1; D-7 Tithi- 6-18/05 K-2
Natal Yoga- 3-03/57 Dhriti; D-7 Yoga- 9-27/39 Shubha
The ascendant of male Aries and Moon sign Virgo both are from above above-described eight signs from the D-7 Moon of a female. The natal moon star of a spouse is in the 8th Tara from the D-7 star of a female. The Tithi of males belongs to the same group of Tithes as the D-7 Tithi of females. The Yoga of males is in the 2nd Tara from the D-7 Yoga of females. So this match is perfect, almost points are mutually in tune.
4-    There is still another method to check the Tithi and Yoga of the spouse, but the ascendant must be correct to the minute level. Calculate the Tithi and Yoga of the 7th house, treating the 7th house as a Moon and the Sun as a Sun, then calculate the Navamsa longitude of these and find the Tithi and Yoga and work as above as in the case of Saptansh. It also gives fine results. Pt. Mukund Daivgya suggested casting the Tithi and Yoga of a house. I have moved to the navamsa of it and find it useful.
5-    First letter of the name of the spouse and their place of birth or living.
Mark the star of navamsa ascendant and in the 7th house from it, also mark the star of marriage point and in the 7th house from it. These four stars give a definite clue according to ‘AVAKHADA  CHAKRA’. We can also consider the trine stars from them.
Marriage is possible when most of the above points in mutually tuned. It is as successful as more points in the agreement. These also work in strong love cum sex affairs. These points are also helpful in rectifying a horoscope with the help of the horoscope of the spouse.

Traditional astrology is able to face every situation and can give answers; the need is for its right application. The right use of Varga charts can explain every situation.
