Which places will suit me! This is a frequently asked question by the client of an astrologer! It is also seen in many cases some peoples get a setback in a particular place and lives happily in another place. I am describing a method to judge a favorable place to live in.

First of all, select the benefic zodiacal sign and star according to your natal Moon using the following method.

To select the benefic sign-

a-     The sign occupied by the ascendant lord in the Rasi and navamsa diagram and trine to it also 7^th from it are the beneficial zodiacal signs. Among these, the fixed sign is more beneficial. If the ascendant lord attains odd or even signs simultaneously in both Vargas then all the odd or even sign becomes supportive. The sign aspected by the ascendant lord also has some benefic nature.

b-    See the navamsa sign of your natal Moon and select the sign where the lord of this sign gets exaltation. As the moon is in the Cancer navamsa then Taurus is a good sign to you. Also, consider the trine and 7^th sign from it but with less magnitude.

c-     The Navamsa sign occupied by the 8^th and 64^th navamsa lord is bad, avoid these strictly if contain bad Tara too from the navamsa Moon star.

d-    Take the navamsa sign of ascendant, the signs of the 10^th and 7^th trine from there are good enough if fall in a good Tara from navamsa Moon, even in transit of Moon these give gain over the enemy. The sign of 1^st trine is of medium nature.

To select benefic star-

a-     Take the Navamsa longitude of the natal Moon and see the star where the longitude of the moon falls. Now calculate the benefic star using the Tara scheme. The 2^nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th Taras are fairly good the 1^st and 9^th Tara is also good but it has some killing nature. Always avoid the group of 3^rd and 5^th Taras. The stars of the 7th group of Tara are also generally avoidable but it may be good if it is in the benefic group of Tara from the natal star and falls in the benefic sign.

 The stars of 7^th Tara are from the Mahendra group a famous concept of ‘Prashna Marg’ of matchmaking. Man uses the place.

It is also put in mind that the star of the first two groups of Tara gives the result to the full extent but the 3^rd group of Tara is not so. Its power good or bad not felt completely. (Perhaps Dr. B.V. Raman also holds the same view in his book election astrology.)

All the odd Taras have killing nature though some of them may be beneficial in other spheres.

There is no need to consider lordship and placement of star lord. It can enhance the good or bad trends of Tara but cannot change the original nature of Tara.

To obtain the navamsa longitude of the moon simply multiply the natal moon by nine and make this figure within the range of the zodiac.

b-    See the navamsa sign of the natal moon. The stars of this sign lord are fairly good without ifs and buts! Even if it falls in bad Tara it supports the natives much but can provide health-related problems too. The star of the sign lord also has benefic nature. 

Now calculate the zodiac sign of a place using the formula given in the Modern Astrology of September 2012 issue. If the sign and star of the place are good according to pre-mentions methods you can select it to live in.

Now see the example-

Using the chart of celebrities for research work is always risky to work. Many of them are disputed. Generally, these are cast on the basis of the official date of birth and as I know my surroundings regarding this, mostly these are falls. Parents conceal or ignore correct data due to ignorance and miss conception to take advantage of official benefits. Now when govt. made the necessity of birth certificates so things have been getting changed and correct data are used in school records.

1-    Dr.Raman- 8/8/1912, 19/15 hours at 77E35 & 13N00

Ascendant-Aquarius, Moon-1-23/24, Saturn-1-10/09

The Lord of ascendant Saturn is at Aries in the navamsa so the sign Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, and Libra are good.

The navamsa sign of the Moon is Leo. The exaltation place of this sign lord is Aries so again above sign gets goodness.

Navamsa longitude of the Moon is 4-00/36. The star is Magha so the star of Ketu, Venus, Moon, Rahu, Saturn, and Mercury are good to him.

He spent his life in Bangalore all of his work was done from this place.

Now calculate the zodiac sign of Bangalore. The Coordinates are 77E34 or 77.567 & 12N58 or 12.967.

Zodiacal sign=9(12.967-77.567)

=9(-64.6) = -581.4

= -581.4+ (360×2) =138.6 converting these degrees into zodiacal sign divided by thirty we get

= 4-18/36 the Leo sign and Purva Phalguni star a star of Venus.

So both the sign and star of the place are beneficial to Dr.Raman. Bangalore city is fully suitable for him.

2-    Smt. Gayatri Devi Vasudev also regulates her work from Bangalore city. Let us see, is this place suitable for her!

Ascendant- Aquarius, Saturn- 4-22/34, Moon- 7-12/56, and the navamsa sign of Moon is Libra.

Bangalore is ruled by the sign Leo that is occupied by her ascendant lord in the Rasi chart and also fixed one. This city is ruled by the star of Venus. Her natal Moon is in the Libra navamsa so the star of Venus is good.

3-    Mumbai city (18N58 & 72E49) is ruled by the sign Scorpio of Jyestha star. Lata Mangeshkar lives in this city and earns a lot of fame, name, and money. Her DOB is 28/09/1929, 23/00 hours in Mumbai.

Ascendant- Taurus, Venus- 4-10/49, and the Moon- 3-17/16

Her ascendant lord in Cancer navamsa so signs Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, and Capricorn are benefic to her. The sign Scorpio is a stronger one as it is a fixed sign. The navamsa sign of the Moon is Sagittarius its lord Jupiter gets exaltation in the sign Cancer. So again above signs became benefic.

The navamsa longitude of the Moon is 8-5/24. It falls in the Mula star. So the star of Mercury falls in the 9^th group of Tara hence benefic to her.

4-    Mr. Rajeeva Gandhi had been benefited from Italy as he found his spouse there and also a place to live in.

Zodiacal sign of Italy (Rome-41N54 & 12E29) is Sagittarius (8-24/45) of Purvashada star.

His birth detail is 20/08/1944, 9/22/25 hours wartime at Mumbai.

Ascendant Virgo (5-1/30), ascendant lord Mercury at Leo (4-28/35), Moon sign is Leo (4-17/43/43), 8^th cum 64^th navamsa lord Mars at Virgo (5-1/13).

His ascendant lord is in the Sagittarius navamsa so this becomes benefic to him, the zodiacal sign of Italy. The navamsa longitude of the Moon is 5-9/33. It falls in the Kritika star and the star of Italy is in the 9^th Tara from it hence beneficial to him.

His death place- Sri Perumbudur (12.97N & 79.95E) is a place of Cancer sign of Ashlesha star.

His 8^th cum 64^th navamsa lord Mars attains Capricorn navamsa. The sign Cancer is 7^th from it and also within the aspect of this death inflicting Mars. The star of place falls in the 7^th Tara from his navamsa star.

5-    Maharishi Mahesh Yogi earns a lot of fame, name, and money at the Vlodrop (51.133N & 6.0833E), Maastricht (50.85N & 5.68E) in the Netherlands (Amsterdam 52N19 & 5E33) and at Seelisberg (Switzerland).

Zodiacal sign of Netherland 2-00/54, Vlodrop- 1-15/27, Maastricht-1-16/30, Seelisberg- 11-15/36

Birth detail of Maharishi- 12/01/1917, 8/00 hours at near Bilaspur (82E12 & 22N03) now in Chhattisgarh

Ascendant- Capricorn 9-18/13, Saturn+-3-4/54, and Moon- 4-9/30 navamsa longitude of the moon is 2-9/30.

The moon's position in both Vargas at the odd sign so Netherland becomes good to him as a country of odd sign further it falls in the 8^th Tara the Mitra Tara from his Navamsa Moon.

The exaltation sign of the lord of navamsa moon is Virgo so the Taurus sign becomes benefic. The sign Pisces is 7^th from Virgo so it also has beneficence. The star of Vlodrop and Maastricht is Rohini it is from the 7^th Tara from the navamsa moon but in the 4^th Tara from Rasi Moon. The star of Seelisberg where his head office remained for a long time is Saturn and the star of Saturn falls in the 2^nd Tara from his navamsa moon.

Also, try this- The place of your first or successful or memorable marriage partner.

First of all, calculate the star and sign of place in concern then move to the horoscope of a person. Calculate the house cusps of the 7^th and 11^th houses using the method of Sripati. Now calculate the Navamsa of these points by simply multiplying by nine and making the figure within the range of the zodiac.

The sign of place of your partner may come from the sign calculated above or trine and 7^th from these.

The star of your partner`s Moon and birthplace surely comes from benefic Tara from navamsa star of the 7^th house. But time must be correct up to seconds and must satisfy the Kundanighna method and other traditional processes of rectification.

a-     Smt. Soniya Gandhi- 9/12/1946, 21/29 hours at Turin (Italy) (7E40 & 45N04, TZ=+1/00 hour)  

Her 7^th house- 9-23/46 Navamsa 4-03/54 Leo sign Magha star

The 11^th house- 1-15/58 Navamsa 1-23/42 Taurus sign

She married the native (Mr. Rajeeva Gandhi) ruled by the star Purvaphalguni and took birth at the place (Mumbai-72E50&18N58) ruled by the sign Scorpio with Jyestha star.

The sign of place of her spouse is Scorpio, 7^th from the navamsa of the 11^th house. The star of the place is Jyestha and the star of the partner is Purvaphalguni both fall in the benefic Tara from the Navamsa star of the 7^th house.

b-    Mr. Rajeeva Gandhi- 20/8/1944, 9/22/25 wartime Mumbai

His 7^th house- 11-01/30 Navamsa 3-13/30 Cancer sign and Pushya star

Zodiacal sign of Turin (7E40 & 45N04) -11-06/36 Pisces sign and Uttarabhadrapad star.

The sign of Turin is trine to Navamsa of the 7^th house and the star of it falls in the very first Tara from the star of Navamsa of the 7^th house. His spouse star (Aadra) falls in the 8^th Tara from the star of Navamsa 0f the 7^th house.
