Navamsa Dasa

!!Shri!!
Rrta Navamsa Dasa
It has nothing to do with Jaimini`s navamsa Dasa. It is based upon the process of navamsa. It`s every step is logical according to the navamsa scheme. And what is systematic and in proper order, fits on the logical ground, and also fits on practical ground.
It provides great accuracy in deciding the time of an event, especially in the matter of ill health.
Calculation- first of all, rectify the birth horoscope of natives using various methods of birth time rectification. Great accuracy is required for the minute calculation of Ascendant. Use only Chitra Paksha Ayanamsa and house calculation based upon the method of Sripati.
1-    Get the value of the navamsa ascendant, by multiplying 9 by to birth ascendant and make it within the range of zodiac if necessary.
2-    The 30° degree of navamsa ascendant is equal to 9 years. So for getting the balance of Dasa at birth deduct the longitude of navamsa ascendant from 30° and the resultant figure should be multiplied by 9 and divided by 30. This is the balance year of Dasa. Make it into years, months, and days by applying suitable proportions.
3-    The first Dasa always starts with the navamsa sign itself with the remaining portion it has. The next Dasa starts with the next sign from the previous one. The total span is 81 years and one major period is equal to 9 years.
4-    Every major period has 9 sub-periods each of one year. The first sub-period belongs to the first navamsa sign of the major period, and the next sub-period will be for the next sign from the previous one up to 9 signs.
As- In the major period of the sign Aries first sub-period will be of Aries sign, the first sub-period for the sign Taurus will be Capricorn, and the first sub-period in the major period of the sign Gemini will be of the sign Libra. Just like the navamsa scheme all the sub-periods should be distributed.
5-    There is a concept of Dwar the gate and Bahya the outer sign in the scheme of periods of zodiac signs. Understand them as below-
The major period sign is known as the gate sign and the sign distance of it from the navamsa ascendant, further counted from the gate sign the sign we get is known as the outer sign.
In the major period of the navamsa ascendant sign, the square sign from it is known as the outer sign.

Predictive use-
1-    What for any house or planet stands for, the period of that sign will provide the result of the house. The trine sign from the house and the square sign from the house lord is also helpful from particularly house for providing results for that house.
2-    General tips-
a-    If the gate and outer sign both are afflicted misfortune is feared in that period.
b-    The sub-periods of 6th, 8th, and 12th signs from the major period may provide hardship or ill health.
c-     The periods of signs those are afflicted much either in the D-1 or in the D-9 by the position or by the aspect of malefic are bad.
The sign contains a planet in debility or hemmed in between malefic or all the trine or square or 4-8-12th signs from it influenced by only malefic, are weak and prone to misfortune.
d-    The period of the 64th navamsa sign either from ascendant or from Atmakarak is prone to ill health. The navamsa sign occupied by 8th lord or by the 64th navamsa lord is also harmful.
In this way the signs occupied by functional benefic planets are good.
If Saturn posited at the 64th navamsa sign the period of this sign may be a killer period.
How to calculate the 64th navamsa sign from-
Ascendant- Take the navamsa of 8th house according to Sri Pati.
Atmakarak- (value of 8th house – Ascendant value) + AK, this is the value of 8th house from AK then take the navamsa of it.
e-    At the beginning of the period if the lord of the period is either in debility or combust then its period provides many hardships.
f-      The lord of the period sign transits 8th from the period sign and at the same time, the sub-period of 8th sign from it can cause ill health.
g-    The periods of 7th house from D-1 or D-9, are helpful in giving marriage, providing suitable transit of planets.
h-    The sign is also helpful in giving marriage those are occupied by the lord of 7th house from D-1 and D-9, in the navamsa diagram, the square sign from is also helpful. The sign occupied by Venus or by Darakarak and the 7th sign from the Karakamsa sign also can provide marriage.
3-    In this way, we must use the sign of the house lord, the house sign from ascendant, navamsa, or Karakamsa, and the sign of natural and Char Karak for the result of any particular house. (Consider only seven char Karak scheme, always discard Rahu-Ketu.)
If the sign has benefic influence and its lord strong enough the favorable result comes to pass in that period.
Let us see the example-
1-    This is the horoscope of my close relative.
26/03/1963 at 4/34/19 hour in Jabalpur (23N10 & 79E57)
Monday night, S-1, and Bramha Yoga
The 8th house- 5-11/28, so the 64th navamsa sign is Aries. Taking the navamsa of the 8th house.
The 9th house- 6-14/13

Some life events-
a-    Loss of father- 23/1/1980
b-    Marriage- 14/6/97
c-     A life-threatening accident- 20/6/1997
Calculation of Dasa-
Deduct the longitude of Navamsa from 30°
30°-18°29´38´´= 11°30´22´´ or 11.506°
To get the balance of Dasa multiply it by nine and divide by thirty.
11.506×9=103.554 ÷ 30 =3.452 years or 3 years 5 months and 12 days of Sagittarius sign.
Distribution of periods and life events-
26/3/1963
The Virgo sub-period in the main period of Sagittarius is present at his birth time. The sub-period of Virgo is not good at his birth time as it falls in the 8th house in the D-1 and this is why his life is full of many accidents and hazards.
8/9/1966 – Capricorn
8/9/1975- Aquarius- Libra
8/9/76- Aquarius- Scorpio
8/9/77- Aquarius- Sagittarius
8/978- Aquarius- Capricorn
8/9/79 Aquarius- Aquarius
This is the period of his father`s demise. He loses his father on 23/1/1980.
The sign Aquarius is trine to the 9th house in the D-1 chart and occupied by the 9th lord, also the sign depositor of Gulika.
The value of 9th house is 6-14/13 and its navamsa sign is Aquarius occupied by Ketu in the D-9. So it is logical period of signs for such an event.
(Don`t take lordship of the house by the sign falls in a particular house in the navamsa diagram. Take the navamsa sign of the longitudinal value of that house. It is not necessary all the 12 sign gets lordship in the navamsa.)
From- 8/9/84 Pisces
8/9/93- Aries- Aries. In this period the Gate sign is Aries and the Outer sign is Leo, both are afflicted by malefic in the D-9 chart.
8/9/94 Aries- Taurus
8/9/95 Aries- Gemini
8/9/96 Aries- Cancer up to 9/9/97
Now observe the sub-sub periods. Each sub-sub period has a value of 1 month and 10 days.
8/9/96 Aries-Cancer-Cancer
18/10/96 Aries-Cancer-Leo
28/11/96 Aries-Cancer-Virgo
8/1/97 Aries-Cancer-Libra
18/2/97 Aries-Cancer-Scorpio
28/3/97 Aries-Cancer-Sagittarius
8/5/97 Aries-Cancer- Capricorn
This period gave him marriage on 14/6/97. The sign Aries is from 7th trine of D-1 and in the navamsa, it is within the aspects of 7th lord of D-1 the Sun, natural, and Char Karak Venus. The sign Cancer and Capricorn are the square sign from Sun and Venus. So it is a logical and suitable period for marriage as per Navamsa Dasa.
This sub-sub period ends on 18/6/97 and it starts the Aries-Cancer-Aquarius period with this date, in which the native met with a fatal accident just after 6 days after his marriage on 20/6/97.
The sign Aries is the 64th navamsa sign and is prone to giving accidents, moreover, it is aspected by Gulika in D-1, and in the D-9 chart, it is aspected by malefic Gulika, Mars, Sun, and Rahu. The sub-period sign Cancer is in the 6th house in the D-1 chart and occupied by Rahu and Mars, More over it is a square sign from the 64th navamsa lord in the D-9 chart. The sub-sub period sign Aquarius is 8th from the sub-period sign Cancer and occupied by malefic Ketu. So it is also a logical period for such events.

     6/7/2005 Cancer – Pisces – Cancer
-         - -  - -   -  - -
16/4/2006 Cancer – Pisces- Aquarius
This is the period of his accident. The sign Cancer is the 64th navamsa sign and is occupied by malefic 8th lord Mars and by Sun in the D-1 chart. The sign Pisces is trine to the 64th navamsa sign and in the D-1 chart hemmed in between malefic, moreover in the D-9 chart squared with 6th lord Saturn, Rahu, and by Gulika. The aspect of Jupiter over it in the D-9 chart worked as a savior. The Aquarius sign is the 12th to sub-period sign and falls in the 6th house in the D-1 chart occupied by Rahu more over in the D-9 chart aspected by Ketu and Saturn. So it is a logical period for his accident as per Pragya Navamsa Dasa.
The Gate sign Cancer has no malefic effect in the D-9 chart but In the D-1 chart, it is occupied by two malefic. The outer sign Libra has malefic influence in both Vargas.
