The trends of the upcoming State Assembly elections in Mizoram can be gauged through the Annual chart of the state on the basis of the Zodiacal sign of the state. The chart of the moment of the Sun's transition over the zodiac sign of capital is the annual chart of the state or country.

Further in the Trisamsa chart, it is in the 12^th house with the sign depositor Jupiter. Hence strong enough but this is the negative strength as the 12^th house is not a supportive house.

The 4^th lord Jupiter is in the 2^nd house in Rasi chart which is a good position. In the Navamsa chart, it is in the 12^th house at sign Aries having a sign exchange with Mars posited in the 11^th house.  The position in the 12^th house with strength is not much promising. Further, in the D-30 chart, it is in the 12^th house at its own sign Sagittarius again but with the 10^th lord Mercury. The strength occupied in the 6-8-12^th house is not good. But Jupiter transferred its strength to the 10^th lord Mercury as a rule that the planet with sign depositor surpasses the strength of the depositor. Hence Jupiter escaped from the blemish of negative strength in comparison with Mercury.

The position of the Gulika at the 12^th sign from the natal sign of the state is also not a good feature.

This kind of planetary setup is not a sufficient favorable augury to the ruling party in the state. The great loss of seats is feared in the upcoming state assembly election of 2018.
