!!Unrest Iraq- There is no hope!!

After advancing on the city for almost a week, on the night of 9–10 June 2014 militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL; sometimes called ISIS) took control of most of the Iraqi city of Mosul. An estimated 1,300 armed militants seized the Nineveh Province government offices, army facilities, and Mosul International Airport.  Approximately 500,000 residents of Mosul were believed to have fled the city. On the following day, the city of Tikrit also fell to insurgents, who burned government buildings and freed hundreds of inmates from the local prison.

Iraq has been suffering from difficulties one after another since America invaded it.  The Baghdad (33N20, 44E26) capital of Iraq is ruled by the sign Sagittarius of Purvashad star. It got freedom from the UK on October 3, 1932. Let us observe the planetary position on the given date. The assumed time is 12 hour noon in Baghdad.

The incident took place when the zodiacal sign of the country was under the affliction of Sade Saati. Natal sign Sagittarius is occupied by Gulika and 8^th transit of Mars was also not good. The 10^th lord Mercury in the 10^th house looks good prime facie but it is very close to Sun and combusted. This is not enough good for the ruler of the country. The Moon may be in the 12^th house which is also very bad. The only good thing is the natal sign is within the aspect of its lord Jupiter but with Ketu and 6^th lord Venus which created tendencies of animosity and fighting. Being a fiery sign of agitated star Purvashad it has dominating tendencies or at least not to bear pressure.  It also fought a long-drawn battle with Iran from September 1980 to August 1988.

Later it was attacked by the USA on March 19, 2003. It fought bravely but lost to Baghdad on April 9, 2003.  Let us see the chart on this date at 12hour noon.

Now observe the transit of planets over the natal sign Sagittarius. The natal sign is occupied by the natal 12^th lord Mars, 4^th is occupied by Sun, 7^th house is posited by the natal 8^th lord Moon with malefic Saturn, and sign lord Jupiter is in the 8^th house! Natal's 10^th lord Mercury is in the 5^th house which is 8^th from 10^th house. I have seen in many cases the 5^th house is the worst place in the matter related to 10^th house. Almost all planets are badly disposed of.

The Uranus was at sign Aquarius (10-7/34) so Navamsa of it is Sagittarius which is equal to the natal sign! On March 19, it was on Scorpio Navamsa which is 12^th from the natal sign!

Now again this country is in trouble by Sunni militants. Let us see the transit position of planets on June 10, 2014.

Natal sign Sagittarius is receiving three malefic aspects by Saturn, Mars, and Ketu. The Mars natal 12^th cum 5^th lord in the 10^th house creates a danger to the sovereignty of the country.  The sign lord Jupiter in the 7^th from own house is not good enough but being with its sign depositor Mercury it gets some strength. So the country may get help in this matter.

Future- Saturn will be 12^th at sign Scorpio from November 2014 which is not good as 4^th transit of Uranus is already on. Jupiter also the sign lord is about to move in sign Cancer which is 8^th from the place sign hence too bad for the country. So there is no hope for peace in near future.
