Preferential Methodology Of Trishamsa!
Here I am arguing in favor of the oldest style of the division of the Trishamsa chart, which is based upon equal thirty divisions each of one degree, regularly counted from the sign Aries, on the practical and logical ground. We shall call it the Vedic trishamsa(D-30).
1-There is several kinds of the divisional chart and most of them are calculated on the basis of regular counting making equal division equal to said divisional chart, starting from the sign Aries or sign itself, except the chart Hora and Trishamsa.
2-The entire astrological theme and its mechanism, even our whole cosmos works in regular and systematic order.
If we put the popular Trishamsa chart based upon unequal five divisions attributed to planets with other divisional charts, it will stand clearly peculiar, unfamiliar, and absurd.
So we should follow the Vedic Trishamsa ( D-30 )based upon equal 30 divisions each of one degree and continuous, regularly counted from the sign Aries; according to its name.
3-Trishamsa Chart being used for calculating Arishta-misfortune related to health.If a sign is divided into equal thirty parts each of one degree and starts counting from ascendent allotting one degree to each house continuously then its 30th degree falls in the 6th house. The 6th house is known for misfortune and ill health.
So it is logical to accept without hesitation the Trisamsha chart with equal 30 divisions each of one degree counted from the sign Aries.
4-The learned author late Mr. C.S. Patel quote a Sloka from Dhruva Nadi in his major work “Navamsa in astrology” on page 51 for Virgo ascendant.
It is clear in observing above Sloka that the Trisamasha is finer than Navamsa. The author of the above Sloka maintained major divisional charts before the finer one.
Though Mr.Patel in his notes wrongly interpreted and puts Trisamsha first than Navamsa due to maintaining some logical meaning with popular and absurd said Trisamasha.
If we follow the vedic trisamhsa according to the wish of the author of Dhruva Nadi then we can come to true meaning.

In virgo sign- -Sun hora ---------------- 5-15/00 to 6-00/00
Capricorn(Makar) Dreskkana----5-10/00 to 5-20/00
Taurus (Vrishava) Navamasa-- --5-13/20 to 5-16/40
Sagittarious(Jupiter)Trisamsha --5-14/00 to 5-15/00

The learned author explained this sutra for the native of the extra limb(Adhikang) and writes that if the Atmakarak planet is posited in the Trisamsha chart in its debilitated sign then the native may have an extra limb. Though it is not clear that it is applicable to the Adhana chart or the Birth chart. I examine it in some birth charts and found its accuracy using the Vedic trisamsha chart.
There
is a Sutras for fixing natives' inner quality related to Trisamsa of the Sun.
That is natives' virtues are according to the owner planet in which sign the
planet Sun posited in the Trisamsa chart.
Let us see some examples-
a-A native was born with six fingers.
DOB-17/06/2005 Time- 08/02AM at 23N08 & 78E55 (Tendukheda, Dist-Narsinghpur, M.P.)
In this example the Atmakarak planet is Moon and its longitude is 5-25/48. it is debilitated in the sign Scorpio in the Vedic trisamsha chart.
b- Another native also has six fingers.
DOB-25/01/1990 Time-02/30 AM at 23N08 & 78E43, Bhind (M.P.)
In this case, the Atma karak planet is Saturn and its longitude is 8-24/41 which falls in debilitated Trisamsha according to Vedic trisamsha.
These two cases prove the correctness and validity of the Vedic Trisamsha chart on practical grounds.
The above examples also prove the correctness of the Lahiri Ayanamsa over others on practical grounds.
