Plants and remedial measures

 Plants and remedial measures

The gods are more active and reside in living beings, as per the nature of consciousness. Each deity represents specific elements and energies. By associating them with the corresponding deities, we worship animals and trees rich in these elements and powers. This connection helps supply these elements through their presence. At the same time, it psychologically heals our conscience. Each planet is associated with at least one plant, and we must plant them during the respective periods and sub-periods of the related planets.

All twenty-seven constellations are linked to specific trees. On the repetition of your birth constellation every month, plant a tree associated with that constellation. At least once a year, on your birthday, a tree related to your birth constellation should be planted as a compulsory ritual. This strengthens your birth constellation, improving your personality and health. Additionally, remember that the savings we accumulate daily are helpful in times of trouble. The search for treasure during crucial moments is often unsuccessful. During such times, even the most elaborate planetary peace rituals may fail.

Here is the list of trees associated with each constellation. But first, let us understand the significance of trees in Vedic literature.

O Men! Do not cut down trees like banyans, trees that provide shelter to birds, etc., and destroy these unappreciated deeds of yours with specialty.

Propounding the importance of plants, the Vedas render plants as a mother with divine qualities.

By saying mother, the meaning here is that the way the mother builds the body, in the same way, plants also have a role in building the body.

-        One stepwell is equal to ten wells, one pond is equal to ten stepwells, one son is equal to ten ponds and one tree is equal to ten sons. --Matsya Purana

-        Those who build ponds, plant trees, and perform the rituals of Yagya are given importance in heaven; Apart from this, those who speak the truth also get importance.

-        That's why a man desirous of welfare should plant good trees near the pond and take care of them like a son. In fact, according to religion, trees have been considered as sons.

Childless couples must plant trees as they can. The blemish of childlessness gets removed by planting trees. It is scientifically proven that trees also have consciousness.

The following shloka is for those who put garbage or immersed worship material in rivers, and ponds and pollute them.

-        Excreta, urine, garbage, blood, poison, etc. should not be shed in water. This makes the water toxic and has a bad effect on the environment. Due to this, the health of humans and other living beings also deteriorates. --Manu Smriti
