The trends of the upcoming State Assembly elections in Maharastra can be gauged through the Annual chart of the state on the basis of the Zodiacal sign of the state. The chart of the moment of the Sun transition over the zodiac sign of the capital is the annual chart of the state or country.

The zodiac sign of Mumbai (18⁰58′30′′N, 72⁰49′33′′E) the capital of the state is Scorpio of the 30^th degree.

The tenure of the assembly ends on November 9, 2019, and the assembly election is about to be held in October 2019.

Let us cast the annual horoscope of the state for the relevant year-

The 8th house	4s 02⁰38′	The 9th house	5s 06⁰ 36′
The 10th house	6s 10⁰ 33′	The 11th house	7s 06⁰ 36′

Now let us examine the chart:

The 10^th cum 5^th lord Venus is in the 10^th house in the Chalit chart. This is not a satisfactory position for the 10^th lord. Though it is at its own sign but full of the blemish of the 5^th house, 8^th from the 10^th house. The 4^th lord Mars is in the 3^rd house within the aspect of sign depositor Saturn hence a good position of the 4^th lord Mars.

In the Navamsa chart, the 10^th lord is in the 3^rd house within the aspect of its sign depositor Saturn. Though the 3^rd house is a negative house to the 10^th house extra strength to the 10^th lord in this house turns it slightly positive. The 4^th lord Mars is in the 6^th house within the aspect of its exaltation lord Saturn. Hence strong but not positive seated in the 6^th house.

Conclusively annual 10^th lord Venus is not positively seated in the Rasi chart in comparison with the 4th lord Mars but in the Navamsa it is good over the 4^th lord Mars. Hence ruling party can maintain its status in upcoming elections.

Now let us examine some helping clues in this regard.

a-     The Pars Fortuna (0s 06°04´) is at sign Aries. The sign Aries falls in the 4^th house in Rasi and in the 5^th house in the Navamsa. Both of the places have a negative tendency against the 10^th house. Hence Pars Fortuna is supporting the opposite party in the state.

b-    The natal sign is Scorpio. It falls in the 11^th house in Rasi and in the 12^th house in the Navamsa chart. Its position in the annual chart is not in the supporting mood of the ruling party.

c-     Role of Gulika:

Mark the position of the Gulika, especially in the Navamsa chart from the natal sign in the annual chart. It is bad to the ruling party at the 4-8-12^th signs and may be bad at trine signs from the natal zodiacal sign of the state unless with or within the aspect of the sign depositor.

In our present case, the Gulika is at sign Aries in Rasi and at sign Virgo in the Navamsa which are the 6^th and 11^th signs respectively from the natal sign Scorpio. Both of the places are good for the ruling party. 

Conclusion: According to the planetary position in the annual chart ruling party is in some leading position but some of the helping factors are against it. Hence we can conclude victory of the ruling party BJP and Shiv Sena alliance but only by a limited margin.
