!! The Point of Danger: A Key Indicator!!
Reproduced from Modern Astrology, October 2019
Many special points used for prediction have been in use for a long time. I am presenting such a point.
This special point has nothing to do with the ‘Bhrigu point’,
although it also utilizes the longitude of the Moon and Rahu; the entire process is different and, to some extent, opposite.
How to calculate it:
Step 1: Deduct the longitude of mean Rahu from that of the Moon
Step 2: Divide the figure 2 obtained in Step 1
Step 3: Deduct the resultant figure from 12 signs or 360 degrees,
which is obtained in Step 2
Step 4: Take the Navamsa sign of the resultant figure obtained
by step 3. This is the ‘special point of longevity’.
How to use it:
It plays a deciding role in matters related to death, life-threatening
accidents, or ill health.
1- One condition out of the given three is
necessary at death.
A- Saturn
either transits a trine sign from it or aspects it.
B- In the
absence of the above rule, Rahu transits this sign or the 7th from
it. The transit of Rahu over the 5th and 9th houses also
works in the case of Balaristha.
C- Heavy
affliction by the two or three Navamsa positions of cruel planets and any other
malefic influence in Rasi transit over the Longevity Point can also cause fatal
situations.
2- Mark the
planets posited in the 1-5-9-3-7-11th sign from it in both Vargas, mainly
in the natal Navamsa chart and mostly in the 1-7-3-11th houses; the
mutual periods of such planets become Marak. Any other planet that aspects the longevity
point in the Navamsa chart also attains the quality of killing nature. Mostly,
the sub-period lord or major, along with the sub-sub-period lords, operates
from these places.
3- The ascendant
at the time of death mostly belongs to the 1-3-7-11th sign from the ‘longevity
point’, and trine signs are also sensitive.
4- Mark this point
in the Navamsa chart and note the houses other than 2-6-8-12 from
it. The age year of death surely falls in these houses if counted from the Navamsa
ascendant.
5- The place of
death belongs to one that is ruled by the zodiac sign or its Navamsa sign,
which is the same by nature as odd or even as the ‘longevity point’. The trine and
the 7th sign from the longevity point are more sensitive, and the 3rd
and 11th signs are also sensitive, causing the incident.
6- It also
hints about longevity in the following ways-
a- Examine this
sign with the original sign whose Navamsa sign it is according to the Jaimini
scheme. Both the signs, Movable and Movable, Fixed and Dual suggest a long lifespan; Movable and Dual, Fixed and Fixed suggest a short lifespan; and the pair of Movable and Fixed, and Dual and Dual signs suggest a medium lifespan.
It
enhances the bad result when it is in the 4-8-12th sign from the
original Rasi sign, whose product it is. Study this along with the Jaimini
scheme.
b- Its
placement in an evil house in the Rasi or the Navamsa chart deducts some amount
of life span. The influence of the malefic planets, either by position or
aspect in the Rasi and Navamsa chart, also reduces longevity or can cause
Balarishta. Weak and afflicted planets are also harmful.
c- Longevity is secured when this point of longevity is with or within the aspect
of the sign lord. Position and aspect of benefic planets also enhance the same.
Now, let us see some examples: All charts are according to Lahiri Ayanamsa.

The transit Saturn was casting its 10th aspect
from the sign Virgo to RSP Gemini. The sub-period lord Sun is posited in the 3rd
house from RSP in the natal Navamsa chart according to the rule. The age is
not relevant here, as he escaped from danger.
1- Osho (Rajneesh): December
11, 1931, at about 11h 50m at 23N06, 78E30 (Kuchwara, Tehsil-Udaipura,
Dist-Raisen, M.P.)
This time is almost correct and provides an Aquarius
ascendant. Pt. K A Dubey Padmesh, a well-known astrologer of North India from
Kanpur, published his horoscope with Aquarius ascendant about 15 years back in
his Hindi magazine, namely ‘Jyotish Yoga’. He was taken 11h 40m, maintaining
Capricorn Navamsa, but I think the Vargottama ascendant is more appealing. Recently, I contacted him, and he promised to provide the issue of his magazine.
Dasa balance: 11y 1m 5days of Venus
The RSP is at sign Virgo.
Moon - Rahu> (8-19/15) – (11-8/28)
= 9-10/47 ÷2 = 4-20/23
(11-29/60) – (4-20/23) = 7-09/37, Navamsa is Virgo
He expired on January 19, 1990, in the evening in Pune, in his 59th year, when he was under the influence of the Jupiter-Mercury-Rahu period. The transit Saturn was in the sign Sagittarius.
Transit Saturn was casting its 10th aspect
to the RSP sign, Virgo, from the sign Sagittarius. The major Dasa lord Jupiter was posited in the 7th sign at Pisces, and the sub-sub-period lord Rahu was posited in the 1st sign at Virgo from the RSP in his natal Navamsa
chart. The 59th year falls in the 11th house in the sign Sagittarius in the natal Navamsa chart, which is a square place from the RSP sign Virgo.
The city of Pune (18.52N & 73.86E) is ruled by the sign Scorpio (7-11/56), and that is 3rd from his RSP.
1- There has been much
debate since August 22, 1945, when Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose met with an air
accident, whether he was alive or dead in the accident, or just a few days before the accident. Let us study the case according to Rta's special point.
I have come to a conclusion with two birth timings for him, though I found no dispute regarding his date of birth and place.
A Marathi astrologer, K. Katwe, believed his birth ascendant was in the sign Sagittarius, with a birth time of 04h 20m early in the morning. But many other astrologers consider his ascendant to be in the sign Aries, with a birth time around noon. A famous website, Astrosage.com, maintains his birth time at 12h 15m 41s
by reference to another Marathi work, ‘Kundli Sangrah’ by Gajanan Tendulkar, and rates it as an accurate time. So I am examining this time.
Neta Ji Bose: January 23, 1897, at 12h 15m 41s at
85E50, 20N30 (Cuttack)
Dasa balance: 1y 0m 19 days of Moon
The RSP is at the sign Gemini
Moon - Rahu> (5-07/39) – (9-23/32)
= 7-14/07÷ 2 = 3-21/04
(11-29/60) – (3-21/04) = 8-08/56; Navamsa sign is Gemini
The
accident took place on August 22, 1945, in his 49th year, when Saturn
was transiting the sign Gemini and Jupiter/Moon/Venus were there. The sub-period of the Moon lasted till October 14, and after that, the sub-period of the Sun began.
The
transit of Saturn was exactly at the sign of Gemini, creating the possibility of an accident, ill
health, or even death. The age year 49th falls at his navamsa
ascendant, which is in the Kendra (7th) from RSP sign Gemini, which
is also suggesting a strong possibility of a serious incident. The Major period lord Jupiter is posited in the sign Leo in both Vargas, that is, 3rd from RSP sign Gemini, which is also, according to the rule, suggesting death. But the sub-period lord Moon, in the sign Pisces in the Navamsa, is 10th from RSP sign Gemini, which does not suggest instant death. The sub-period of the Moon ends on October
14, after about 53 days, and the Sun will start. The Sun is posited in the sign Aries in the Navamsa, and the 11th from RSP sign Gemini is capable of causing death for him. The aged year and Saturn`s transit were already in accordance. So
we can assume death results for him. As I know well, only God is 100%, and no knowledge on earth can challenge it; my endeavor is to explain a new rule of astrology.
