!Navamsa- Some aspect!

There are 16 Vargas (subdivisions) of ascendants and planets in Vedic astrology, to pinpoint any prediction and making difference between nativities. Planets stay at a sign for a long time and even ascendant rises about two hours. Several births took place in this duration. We can differentiate every birth by using the Varga chart. The Navamsa is the most important subdivision of them. Some astrologers emphasize that ‘Navamsa’ is more valuable than Rasi itself. I also agree with their view. It had been the greatest problem for a long time for me how to use it! How to use it with Rasi chart! Various classical texts of astrology have several hints about its use of it.

Atal Bihari Bajpai- Disputed Horoscope

Here I am talking about the horoscope of Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpai. Some astrologers suggest his ascendant Scorpio. Mr. K.N. Rao supports this view. He mentioned his view in the book ‘Finer techniques of astrological prediction’.

He mentions his birth particulars as Date- December 25, 1924, at  Time-5h.45a.m. Place-Gwalior.

I agree with him except Birth Time. I think his Birth Time is 3h.45a.m.and his ascendant is Libra with Taurus navamsa is correct, supported by other astrologers.

Both types of horoscopes are as follows with Lahiri Ayanamsa. The Gulika has been calculated by Parasari’s method and house division as per the method of Sripati.

Terror in Nigeria

On the night of 14–15 April 2014, approximately 276 female students were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria. The kidnappings were claimed by Boko Haram, an Islamic Jihadist and Takfiri terrorist organization based in northeast Nigeria.

On 20 May 2014, two bombs exploded in Jos, Nigeria, killing at least 118 and injuring more than 56 people. The first bombing occurred in a marketplace and the second near a bus station.

These are the recent terror events in Nigeria. The country is under the grip of terrorists and the government is hopeless.

 1-      There is a heavy explosion in a fireworks factory near Ujjain (M.P.). Date- May 3, 2014 at 15h. 00m. as per local news paper, place- Bad Nagar (75E22, 23N37) near Ujjain. 16 workers feared dead in this accident.

Place of event is ruled by sign Sagittarius (8-14/09) of Purvashad star.

There has been much debate over the names of Gulika and Mandi. Some say that these are the two names of a sub-planet of Saturn. But according to others, these are two different entities. Some debate about the method of its calculation. Sage Parasar takes into account the beginning of Astamsh of Saturn and Kalidas advocates for the end limit. Starting time of any event is more important. We calculate the Muhurta for the beginning of any work and not for its completion. We take into account the arrival time of the questioner and not the time of his departure. So Parasar is more logical. But the ending portion of Astamsh of Saturn is the beginning portion of Rahu`s Ashtamsa.
