The 1^st, 4^th, 8^th, and 12^th signs are always bad and the 5^th, 9^th, Badhak signs, and the sign of most functional planet from the 7^th trine (3^rd & 11^th ) of that sign may be harmful if otherwise afflicted. It always harms the significance of the house where it falls from the zodiacal sign of place more so when this event takes place at bad Tara from the natal star of the place. Generally, it gives good results in Upachaya houses but in the 10^th house, it can harm the ruler and sovereignty of the country.  We can determine its influence on countries using the zodiac sign of their capital.

Two eclipses in April and two eclipses in October will be happening in 2014. Now let us examine the impact of eclipses falling in the month of April on various countries.

1-    There will be a total lunar eclipse on 15^th April 2014. This is not visible in India but in Australia, and the USA. It will take place at the Virgo sign of the Chitra star. So the countries and places ruled by the sign trine and 7^th from it namely Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, and Pisces may suffer a lot from the influence of this eclipse. The countries ruled by the Airy sign may also get in trouble by the influence of it as the Virgo sign falls in the 4^th,8^th, or in 12^th from them. For full affliction, the afflicted star Chitra should be in bad Tara from the natal star of place or country.

Now let us see the impact of this eclipse on some countries.

a-     Thailand (Bangkok 13N45&100E29) and North Korea (Pyongyang 39N02&125E45) are ruled by sign Capricorn of Dhanistha star. Sign Capricorn is trine from the sign Virgo, afflicted by eclipse and the afflicted star by eclipse, Chitra falls in the Janma Tara of this country. So this eclipse is too bad for these countries. Bolivia (Sucre a9S02&65W15) and Falkland (Stanley 51S42&57W51) are ruled by sign Taurus of Mrgashirsh star. So the ruling star and sign of these countries are also trine from afflicted sign and star by eclipse.

b-    Ukraine (Kiev 50N27&30E30) and Libya (Tripoli 32N52&13E11) are ruled by sign Virgo of Chitra star. The maximum evil will be felt at these countries as the eclipse is falling exactly on the natal sign and star of the country.

c-     South Korea (Seol 37N35&127E00) is ruled by sign Capricorn of Uttarashad star. Sign Virgo is trine from it and the afflicted star by eclipse Chitra is in the Vipat (3^rd,12^th,21^st) Tara. So eclipse is not good to this country.

d-    Egypt (Cairo 30N02 & 31E13), Germany (Berlin 52N31&13E23), Switzerland (Bern 46N57&07E27) are ruled by sign Pisces of Revati star. The sign Pisces is 7^th from eclipse sign but the afflicted star by the eclipse Chitra falls in the good Tara from Revati star. So affliction is normal.
e-     India (New Delhi 28N39&77E13) is ruled by sign Capricorn of Shravana star. The sign of eclipse will fall in the 10^th house but falls in the good Tara (2^nd,11^th,20^th) from the star of these countries. So the affliction will prevail with normal intensity. It will afflict the significance of 10^th house. The government will be unstable. Changing in rulership indicated.

f-     Lebanon (Beirut 33N54&35E32), Gaza (31N31&34E27), Mexico (19N03&99W220, Syria (Damascus 33N30&36E18) are ruled by sign Pisces of Uttarabhadrapad. Sign pisces is 7^th from eclipse sign and afflicted star by eclipse Chitra falls in the Nidhan (7^th,16^th,25^th) Tara from the natal star Uttarabhadrapad. Hence affliction over these countries is prominent.

g-      USA (White house 38°53´51.88´´N & 77°02´10.77´´W) is ruled by sign Aquarius of Purvabhadrapad star. The eclipse is falling in the 8^th house but in the good Tara (Mitra 8^th,17^th,26^th). So affliction is only normal.

h-     USSR (Moscow 55N45&37E37) is ruled by sign Virgo of Hasta star and India (New Delhi 28N39&77E13) is ruled by the sign Capricorn of Shravana star. The sign of eclipse is trine to these but falls in the good Tara (2^nd,11^th,20^th) from the star of these countries. So the affliction will prevail with normal intensity.

i-    Pakistan (Ishlamabad 33N42&77E10) is ruled by sign Aries of Ashwani star. The eclipse is falling in the 6^th house in a bad (Prityari 5^th,14^th 23^rd)Tara. The 6^th house is good for this event but in the bad Tara it can initiate bad significance of 6^th house such as the increase in terrorism.

There are so many countries and states in the world. Here is not possible to mention each but we can count them according to rule given above.

2-    There will be another annular solar eclipse on 29^th April 2014. It will take place at sign Aries and the afflicted star will be Bharni but starting of eclipse will be at Ashwani star over some places.

Sign Aries falls in the 4^th,8^th,12^th from earthy signs. So the places ruled by earthy sign Thailand, Both Korea, Bolivia, Ukraine, Libya, India and the USSR much sensitive to receive affliction of the eclipse. The Places of fiery sign (trine) and sign Libra (7^th) are also prone to receive affliction. Pakistan ruled by sign Aries and Nepal ruled by sign Libra of Vishakha star-sensitive places. All the places ruled by fiery and earthy sign including Pisces and Libra are prone to get affliction by these eclipses. To a definite conclusion, we should count Tara from the natal star of place to the eclipse star.

(How to calculate zodiacal sign of place-

Take the longitude and latitude of place in question. Convert them into degrees. Out of them, use North and East c0-ordinate with plus(+) mark and the South and West co-ordinates with minus(-) mark.

Zodiac sign= 9(Latitude – Longitude)

Then make the resultant figure within 360 degrees, after deducting or adding, as many times the value of 360 as possible. It must be within 360 degree and with plus mark and then convert into Zodiac sign, providing 30 degree for each sign. The value we get should be increased by the nearest Navamsa-pada. This is the Zodiacal sign of place. But for the use of political purposes we should extend it up to last limit of star but within same sign.)

Please observe some old cases.

1-    The last eclipse falls on 1/7/2011 at sign Gemini the 10^th house of the zodiac sign of Libya, Virgo (Tripoli-32N52 & 13E11). The 10^th house stands for the ruler of the country and this eclipse at 10^th house was bad for its ruler as its tyrannical ruler got his end after this eclipse.

The agitation broke up in mid-February after the eclipse was held on 4/1/2011 at sign Sagittarius the 4^th house of the country.

2-    Egypt`s capital, Cairo is ruled by the sign Pisces (30N08 & 31E34), and the last eclipse before resigning and flying of its ruler fell on 4/1/2011 at the sign Sagittarius the 10^th house of the country.

3-    Sudan`s capital Khartoum is ruled by sign Libra (15N38 & 32E32) and the last eclipse before its partition was on 1/6/2011 at sign Taurus the 8^th house of the country.

4-    Sendai earthquake on 11/3/2011 Japan

Zodiac sign of the epicenter (38.322N & 142.369E) is Leo and last eclipse before the event was on 4/1/2011 at sign Sagittarius the trine sign from place.

The capital of Japan, Tokyo also ruled by sign Leo.

The most affected areas Sendai, Yamagata and Honsu all are ruled by sign Virgo and the eclipse was 4^th from it.

5-    The earthquake in Turkey near Van city on 23/10/2011.

Zodiac sign of capital, Ankara is Gemini (39N57 & 32E50)

The last eclipse before the event was on 1/7/2011 at sign Gemini the 5^th from the epicenter and at the same sign of its capital sign.

6-    There were several deaths due to the leakage of poisonous gas in Bhopal city on 3/12/1984. Bhopal is ruled by sign Scorpio (23.267N & 77.426E) and the last eclipse before the event was 23/11/84 at sign Scorpio! the same sign as place.

The eclipse falls at sensitive signs to the place sign may be harmful. The 1^st, 4^th, 8^th, and 12^th sign are always bad and 5^th, 9^th, Badhak signs and the sign of the most functional planet from 7^th trine (3^rd & 11^th ) of that sign may be harmful if otherwise afflicted.
